The Somerset Patriots defeated the Reading Fightin’ Phils by a score of 4-3 at FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading, Pennsylvania on Tuesday night.
RHP Chase Hampton (6.0 IP, 3 R, 2 ER, 6 H, 0 BB, 6 K) started the game and earned his second Double-A win.
CF Jasson Dominguez (1-for-3, RBI, R, BB) scored his Eastern League-leading 75th run in the game and tacked on his team-leading 59th RBI with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning.
In center field, Dominguez committed an error in the sixth inning that snapped a streak of 92 straight games in the outfield without an error to start the season. His 92-game errorless streak is the longest in the Eastern League this year and the longest by any Somerset Patriot in the Yankees Double-A era.
