Riders blast three homers in loss to Naturals

FRISCO, Texas (May 29, 2018) - Michael O'Neill homered twice more as part of a three-homer barrage for the Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, in a 10-5 loss to the Northwest Arkansas Naturals Tuesday evening at Dr Pepper Ballpark.
BIG MOMENTS
* Michael O'Neill homered in each of his first two at-bats for the Riders. Hunter Cole went back-to-back with him after his second homer in the third inning to bring the Riders within a run at 4-3.
* Riders starter Pedro Payano managed his third consecutive quality start, yielding three earned runs (five total) on six hits in six innings of work. He struck out seven Naturals and only walked two.
* The Naturals broke a 5-4 game open late with five runs in the final two innings to take the series opener.

O'Neill's two-home run performance was his second such performance in the last six games. He's homered six times in that span.

* Cole recorded his first three-hit game of the year and his team-best 21^st multi-hit showing overall.
