WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY - The BlueClaws dropped their second straight game on Wednesday, falling 9-3 at Hudson Valley in the second game of their six game series.

The BlueClaws (20-15) have dropped two straight to start this series. They entered on a franchise best 11-game winning streak. Hudson Valley improved to 17-15.

Rafael Flores opened the scoring with an RBI single in the bottom of the first inning. Hudson Valley added three more runs in the fourth after Sam Aldegheri walked the first three batters. One scored on a wild pitch and Flores then doubled home two more to give the Renegades a 4-0 lead.

The Renegades added three more off Jack Dallas in the fifth inning including two on a double by Nelson Medina.

Bryan Rincon got the BlueClaws home run on the board with a two run home run in the sixth inning, his first home run of the season. Andrick Nava added an RBI single in the seventh for the other BlueClaws run.

Aldegheri (3-1) took the loss, allowing four runs in four innings with five walks. Four BlueClaws pitchers combined to walk 11 Renegades in the game, matching Jersey Shore's season high.

Hudson Valley starter Baron Stuart (1-1) earned the win, allowing two runs in six innings. Jared Serna went 0-1 but walked four times and scored three runs for the Renegades.

The BlueClaws continue their series at Hudson Valley at 6:35 pm on Thursday night. RHP Estibenzon Jimenez starts for Jersey Shore.
