Former Sacramento River Cats right-hander Silvino Bracho signed a MiLB deal with the Boston Red Sox on March 6.

Bracho, 29, pitched 49 games for the River Cats in 2021, his first season in the Giants organization. In 50.0 innings with Sacramento, Bracho had a 4.14 ERA, with 65 strikeouts, 1.56 WHIP, a .292 opposing batting average, and a team-leading eight saves.

The Maracaibo, Venezuela native was the Venezuelan Winter League Comeback Player of the Year and Reliever of the Year in 2021 with Aguilas del Zulia.

Bracho is 2-2 with 94 strikeouts, a 1.32 WHIP, and 4.82 ERA in 89.2 MLB innings with the Arizona Diamondbacks (2015-2020). He is 14-14 with a 2.95 ERA, 419 strikeouts, 103 saves, 1.12 WHIP, and a .230 opposing batting average in 301.2 MiLB innings.
