Tacoma, WA - The Sacramento River Cats (40-59) were unable to give starter Andrew Suárez the run support he needed tonight, falling 4-1 to the Tacoma Rainiers (50-50) Saturday night.

Suarez held the Rainiers in check over his six innings despite loading the bases twice, holding them to three runs (two earned) and stranding seven men on base. The left-hander set a season-high in pitches thrown tonight by tossing 107 (66 strikes) while walking three and striking out four. All seven of Suarez's surrendered hits were singles tonight and he allowed a run in the first inning for the first time this season.
