River Cats deal late blow to Aces in 7-6 comeback
Reno, NV - The Sacramento River Cats (52-70) and Reno Aces (69-54) went back and forth Tuesday night at Greater Nevada Field but thanks to four runs in the final three innings it was the visitors who came away with the 7-6 win.
Reno, NV - The Sacramento River Cats (52-70) and Reno Aces (69-54) went back and forth Tuesday night at Greater Nevada Field but thanks to four runs in the final three innings it was the visitors who came away with the 7-6 win.
After the Aces rallied for four runs in the seventh inning to take a 6-4 lead, the River Cats began a comeback bid of their own. Sacramento scored three runs in the final two innings, highlighted by a two-run ninth inning that completed the rally.
Game two tomorrow night will feature River Cats' right-hander Jose Flores (1-2, 3.09) up against Aces' left-hander
