Charleston, SC - The Charleston RiverDogs scored six runs over the final two innings on Saturday night to come away with a 10-4 victory over the Greenville Drive.

Charleston, SC - The Charleston RiverDogs scored six runs over the final two innings on Saturday night to come away with a 10-4 victory over the Greenville Drive.

With the score tied at four in the bottom of the seventh, a two-out error by the Drive (24-44) extended the inning, and Chris Hess followed with an RBI single to plate the go-ahead run off Devon Fisher (3-4).
Five more runs in the eighth allowed the RiverDogs (33-34) to pull away. Daniel Barrios, Wilkerman Garcia and Steven Sensley delivered RBI hits in the frame, while Hess added a two-run single.
The Drive took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second, as Kervin Suarez lined an RBI double and Lorenzo Cedrola began his big day at the plate with a sacrifice fly. Charleston answered with two runs in the bottom half after an RBI single by Carlos Vidal and a wild pitch from Jhonathan Diaz.
Hess's RBI doubles in the third and fifth innings put Charleston ahead, but Cedrola tied the game at four in the sixth with a two-run double to right field.
Cedrola went 4-4 atop the Drive lineup with three RBI, and Isaias Lucena chipped in with two hits.
Hess powered the RiverDogs with five RBI as part of a four-hit night.
Dalton Higgins (2-1) got the win for Charleston with two and two-third scoreless innings of relief.
The teams will conclude the first half of the season on Sunday in Charleston at 1:05 PM. The Drive will send right-hander Durin O'Linger (1-0, 0.00) to the mound, and the RiverDogs will start right-hander Deivi Garcia (0-0, 3.60).
