Fisher Cats All-Star Jordan Romano allowed just one run on six hits with two walks and six strikeouts over 6.1 innings. The lone run came on an RBI single from Cornelius Randolph in the third.
Reading's JoJo Romero went seven complete innings (113 pitches), and held New Hampshire to one run on five hits with four walks and eight strikeouts.The Fisher Cats run came on a third-inning RBI single from Harold Ramirez, who finished the game 2-for-4.
Aaron Brown (W, 1-0) recorded a scoreless eighth inning for the Phils, while Andrew Case (L, 1-2) surrendered the game-winning triple in the ninth.
Fisher Cats LF Connor Panas singled in the sixth inning, extending his hitting streak to 10 games.
