RHP Richard Fitts (6 IP, 0 R, 5 H, 4 K) took a no decision in his MiLB leading 14th quality start of the season.
After Thursday’s start, Fitts leads the Eastern League in IP (131.0), while placing second in K (139), third in ERA (3.16), and fourth in WHIP (1.10).
In the month of August, Fitts is 2-0 with a 0.37 ERA in 24.1 IP, allowing only 1 ER with 21 K.
Over his last 16 starts dating back to 5/24, Fitts has posted a 2.12 ERA over 97.2 IP with 103 K and a 0.98 WHIP.
