“We’ve had a great partnership with Beale’s for several years and are excited for them to join in the efforts of what the team and the Diversity Center started a couple of seasons ago of making sure the ballpark is a welcoming place for everyone.” said Steven Elovich, Salem’s Vice President of Corporate Partnerships.
Beale’s Brewery is located in Bedford, Virginia and the company caters across Virginia and the D.C. area. The company is proud to support a diverse audience and excited to help promote the evening.
“Beale’s Beer is a proud supporter of all things Pride - we believe that LGBTQ+ rights are human rights and diversity is worth celebrating,” Chad Hester said. “We’re honored to be the title sponsor of the Red Sox annual Pride Night.”
This year marks the third annual Pride Night in Salem Red Sox history, the first celebration occurred during the 2019 season. In year’s past, the efforts have been led by the Roanoke Diversity Center. The Diversity Center hopes the new Pride Night sponsorship will reach even more audiences to make the ballpark environment feel welcoming for all individuals.

They work hard to engage the community and make baseball a safe place for everyone,” Wesley Oliver Cook said. “We are so excited to have Beale’s join as a sponsor for Pride at The Park to continue to engage more of the community.”
Pride Night is scheduled for Thursday June 2nd, with first pitch slated for 7:05 p.m. There will be a Pride Walk and the evening will also serve as Thirsty Thursday and Bark in the Park night.
