The No. 24 San Diego prospect collected four singles and a three-run double, swiped two bases and scored the go-ahead run to help the Triple-A Chihuahuas squeak past Albuquerque, 9-8, at Southwest University Park.

It marked the second time in Cordero's professional career that he had five hits in a game. While playing in the Rookie-level Arizona League, the 22-year-old tripled, singled four times and drove in a run against the Indians on July 8, 2013.

The center fielder didn't waste any time, smacking a grounder down the left-field line on the first pitch of the at-bat for a bases-clearing double.
