Scavuzzo Named to the 2018 Texas League Post Season All-Star Team

Tulsa Drillers outfielder Jacob Scavuzzo has been named to the 2018 Texas League Post Season All-Star Team. Scavuzzo is the only Drillers player to make the squad.
The outfielder has been one of the best hitters in the Texas League this season. Entering the final five games of the regular season, he is hitting .271 with 23 home runs and 75 RBI.
Scavuzzo has had a big second half, hitting .284 with 16 home runs and 53 RBI. In the half, he has led the Texas League in home runs (16), extra-base hits (34), RBI (53), slugging (.591), OPS (.923) and total bases (127).
Earlier this season, Scavuzzo had an impressive 21-game hitting-streak which was just six games shy of the all-time Drillers record. He brought home the Texas League Player of the Month honor for July after leading the league in many offensive categories.
