After falling behind in the second inning, the Scrappers would score four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to take control of the game on their way to an 8-2 win over the Williamsport Crosscutters. The win marked the fourth straight series win for the Scrappers to start the 2018 season.
After the Crosscutters scored two runs in the top of the second inning, the Scrappers would cut in to the deficit in the bottom of the fourth.
The Scrappers would break the game open in the bottom of the fifth inning when they sent all nine batters to the plate.
A Palacio's RBI single and a Reeves two run homer in the bottom of the seventh would add three more insurance runs and pushed the score out to the final of 8-2.
With the win the Scrappers match the 2011 team with seven wins at home in the month of June, matching the franchise mark.
The Scrappers (9-2) now head to West Virginia to start a six game road trip.
