Senators' Barrett added to Western Division All-Stars roster

RICHMOND, Va. - Harrisburg Senators reliver Aaron Barrett has been added to the Western Division roster for the upcoming Eastern League All-Star Game on July 10, part of Eastern League All-Star Week presented by Genworth.

A right-handed pitcher with 90 games of major-league experience with the Washington Nationals, Barrett was added to the roster in correspondence with Harrisburg left-hander Ben Braymer being promoted to Triple-A Fresno on Wednesday.
Barrett has made 27 appearances for the Senators this season, which is fourth-most in the league, and he currently sits second in the Eastern League with 14 saves. Overall on the year, he is 0-1 with a 3.30 ERA.
The Evansville, Ind. native made 90 total appearances for the Nationals from 2014-15, combining to go 6-3 with a 3.47 ERA. He underwent Tommy John surgery late in the 2015 season and suffered a broken humerus while working his way back in 2016. Barrett returned to game action last year, pitching in 20 games, and he is in his first full season on the mound since 2015 with Harrisburg this year.
