GRAND CHUTE, WI - Saturday's game between the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and West Michigan Whitecaps at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium has been postponed. A severe storm blasted through the Fox Cities earlier this afternoon and knocked out power to the ballpark and the surrounding area. Power had not returned to the stadium by 4:00pm and the decision was made to not play on Saturday.

The plan is to have the Timber Rattlers and Whitecaps make up the game on Sunday as part of a doubleheader with game one scheduled to start at 1:05pm. That plan may change if the power does not return in time for Sunday's twinbill. The Timber Rattlers will try to keep everyone updated through social media as best they can.

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jimmy Nelson is scheduled to pitch in relief for game one of the twinbill as part of a minor league rehabilitation assignment.

Sunday is a Brewers Sunday presented by Rasmussen College and STAR 98.5 at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. Timber Rattlers players and coaches will wear Brewers-themed Timber Rattlers jerseys for game game one. Plus, the first 1,000 fans to attend this game receive a Corbin Burnes bobblehead courtesy of Valley Vision Clinic of Neenah.

In the nightcap, players and coaches on both teams will wear alternate jerseys as part of the
Copa de la Diversión. The Rattlers will wear their Los Cascabeles de Wisconsin and the Whitecaps have brought their Calaveras de West Michigan jerseys.

Fans may play catch on the field from noon until 12:30 before Sunday's doubleheader, meet with PBS Kids' star Curious George throughout the afternoon, and stick around for a postgame autograph session with the players sponsored by Tundraland, too.

A minor league doubleheader is two-seven inning games with approximately thirty minutes between the end of game one and the start of game two. This is a single-admission doubleheader. Fans with a ticket for Sunday are admitted to both games.

Tickets for
Sunday's game are available online, over the phone at (920) 733-4152 or (800) WI-TIMBER and in person at the Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. The stadium box office is open until 5:00 pm today and from 10:00am to 3:00pm on Saturday.
