Reno, NV - Chris Shaw had his first four RBI performance with the Sacramento River Cats (19-32) Tuesday night but the offense was unable to do much else in their 10-5 loss to the Reno Aces (33-20).

Sacramento jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning with three of the runs being knocked by Shaw. The left fielder stepped up to the dish with the bases loaded and drove a fastball down the right field line to clear them. Two batters later catcher Tim Federowicz hit a double of his own, the River Cats third double in the inning, which brought Shaw around to score. Shaw notched his fourth RBI in the third inning on a sacrifice fly to center field that Ryder Jones tagged up on and scored.
Left-hander Michael Roth took the loss for Sacramento, his fourth of the year and surrendered seven runs (four earned) over his five innings tonight. Coming into tonight Roth had won his previous two starts.
The River Cats will have an off day tomorrow and open up a four-game series with Albuquerque starting Thursday. Right-hander Chris Stratton (0-3, 6.88) will get the ball in game one for Sacramento and for the Isotopes it will be left-hander Harrison Musgrave (0-1, 6.49). First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m. (PT) and the game can be heard live online at rivercats.com and on the air on Money 105.5 FM.
