Medeiros, a first-round pick by the Brewers in 2014, was traded to the White Sox on Thursday afternoon along with DSL Brewers RHP Wilber Pérez in exchange for RHP Joakim Soria. After tossing five innings for the Shuckers on Wednesday night, Medeiros finishes his time in Biloxi with a 7-5 record and a 3.14 ERA, the lowest ERA of his career to date. In 103.1 innings, Medeiros walked 45 batters and struck out 107, holding opponents to a .234 batting average against.
Following the trade, the Shuckers roster sits at 24 active players with one player on the disabled list. There is no corresponding roster move for Biloxi at this time.
