Shuckers Sweep 2018 Southern League Awards

On a banner day for the franchise, the Biloxi Shuckers swept all three major award for the 2018 Southern League season, taking home Manager of the Year, MVP and Most Outstanding Pitcher. 
In his third season with the Shuckers, Mike Guerrero was named the Southern League Manager of the Year, guiding the Shuckers to a Southern League-best 78 win. 
Zack Brown, the league's ERA leader, earns the Southern League's Most Outstanding Pitcher honor, after anchoring the Shuckers rotation all season long. 
Following a career-best season and his scorching month of July, Corey Ray takes home the Southern League MVP. 
And finally, Nate Griep, Corey Ray and Zack Brown have all been named 2018 Southern League Postseason All-Stars, the first time the Shuckers have had three postseason All-Stars. 
The Shuckers are home for the final five games of the regular season beginning on Thursday night at 6:35 PM. The Shuckers then stay in Biloxi for Games One and Two of their South Division Championship Series matchup next Wednesday and Thursday nights at 6:35 PM CT at MGM Park.
