The Sky Sox found themselves down 4-2 for the second straight night in the late innings, but the visitors came from behind and tied the game with a two-run eighth inning.
Despite the loss, the Sox were victorious in 13 of the 17 matchups between the two PCL American North Division Rivals. Colorado Springs enjoyed an 8-1 record against the Storm Chasers at Security Service Field, including a five-game sweep June 26-29 in the final series in the Rocky Mountain State.
After the quick four-game series in Nebraska, the Sky Sox return home for an eight-game homestand beginning Friday, July 21, at 7 p.m. MT. The Reno Aces, Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, come to Security Service Field for the first and only time this season for a four-game series. RHP
