Colorado Springs, CO - The Sacramento River Cats (14-21) put on an another offensive show in their 11-2 win over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox (21-10) Saturday night.

Jae-Gyun Hwang and Austin Slater, the first two hitters in the Sacramento batting order, did they heavy lifting tonight as they combined to drive in seven of the team's 11 runs. The River Cats' double-digit run total was their second in three games against the best team in the Pacific Coast League and they have now outscored Colorado Springs 29-13.
Sacramento starter Joan Gregorio ran into trouble in the first inning, allowing two runs on a home run by Sky Sox third baseman Ryan Cordell. The right-hander was terrific after that, allowing just two more hits the rest of his outing while striking out six over six frames. The River Cats bullpen shut the door the rest of the way, as Roberto Gomez and Tyler Rogers allowed one hit between them.
Tomorrow's series finale features left-hander Michael Roth (2-3, 4.88) making his sixth start for Sacramento against Colorado Springs' lefty Josh Hader (3-2, 4.54). With a win tomorrow, the River Cats can earn their first series win since their first series of the season against Tacoma. First pitch is set for 12:00 p.m. (PT) and the game can be heard live online at rivercats.com and on the air on ESPN 1320.
