Ryan Atkinson would get the start for Generals. Atkinson pitched 7.1 innings giving up seven hits while giving up three runs.
Following the series finale on Monday afternoon the Smokies finish off the 2017 season welcoming 313,796 fans into the ballpark, which is the new franchise single-season record. The Smokies also set a new mark on average attendance in 2017, averaging 4,981 fans at Smokies Stadium per night. The club will kickoff the 2018 season on April 5 as they will travel to Mississippi and take on the Braves to begin the year, and will return to Tennessee for the home opener on April 11.
