The Sky Sox (29-20) cracked the scoreboard first in the second inning off starter Joel Seddon. Yadiel Rivera lined the second straight single of the inning up the middle, easily scoring Nate Orf for the shortstop's 20th RBI of the season.
After taking an off day Wednesday, the Sox return to action Thursday night at 6:05 p.m. MT in Oklahoma City for a four-game series with the Dodgers at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. LHP Brent Suter (3-1, 3.13) aims for his second straight win against rehabbing Major Leaguer Brock Stewart in the series opener.
