SOUTH BEND, Indiana - The South Bend Cubs have announced their next homestand of the season. On Tuesday, June 5, all area teachers and administrators are invited to Four Winds Field and see the game for free, and have a chance to win a pair of Chicago Cubs tickets. Also included in this homestand is an appearance by legendary pitcher Rollie Fingers.
All homestand games take place at Four Winds Field, 501 W. South Street, South Bend. Tickets can be purchased online at online or by calling the Box Office at 574-235-9988.
Friday, June 1, Lake County Captains, 7:35 p.m.

  • Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
  • Rollie Fingers Appearance: A special appearance by MLB Hall of Fame pitcher Rollie Fingers. VIP ticket package available. Call the Box Office for details
  • Fantastic Friday Fireworks: Begin immediately following the game

Saturday, June 2, Lake County Captains, 7:05 p.m.
  • Gates open at 5 p.m.
  • Thunder Sticks Giveaway: The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a set of South Bend Cubs thunder sticks
  • Strike Out Cancer Night: A night honoring cancer survivors and remembering those no longer with us. Bid on game-worn jerseys with proceeds benefiting local cancer research
  • Flat Screen Saturday: Every inning, one fan in attendance will win a 50-inch flat screen TV

Sunday, June 3, Lake County Captains, 2:05 p.m.
  • Gates open at noon
  • Thunder Sticks Giveaway: The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a set of South Bend Cubs thunder sticks
  • Strike Out Cancer Night: A night honoring cancer survivors and remembering those no longer with us. Bid on game-worn jerseys with proceeds benefiting local cancer research
  • Sundae FUNday: Play catch on the field before the game and meet your favorite South Bend Cubs player during the post-game autograph session

Tuesday, June 5, Fort Wayne TinCaps, 7:05 p.m.
  • Gates open at 6 p.m.
  • Teacher Appreciation Night: All area teachers and administrator are invited to Four Winds Field and can receive one free game ticket by showing their school ID at the Box Office. One lucky teacher in attendance will win a pair of Chicago Cubs tickets  
  • Two Dollar Tuesday: This week, $2 buys you a small popcorn or light sword

Wednesday, June 6, Fort Wayne TinCaps, 7:05 p.m.
  • Gates open at 6 p.m.
  • Bobblehead Giveaway: The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Jason Heyward bobblehead
  • Silver Slugger's Day: Seniors ages 55 and older can purchase a discounted ticket to the game. Plus, special health screenings every week

Thursday, June 7, Fort Wayne TinCaps, 7:05 p.m.
  • Gates open at 6 p.m.
  • Margaritaville Night: Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite Hawaiian shirt as the South Bend Cubs get tropical. Special pre-game concert by The Grooveheads
  • Hoosier Lottery Night: The first 1,000 fans through the gates (age 18 and older) receive a free Hoosier Lottery ticket
  • Thirsty Thursday: Enjoy $2 fountain sodas and 16 oz domestic draft beer all game long

As a reminder, the gates open two hours prior to the first pitch for all Friday, Saturday and Sunday games throughout the season. The 1st Source Bank Performance Center will be open during home games for all ticket holders.
About the South Bend Cubs
The South Bend Cubs are the Class A minor league affiliate of the World Series Champion Chicago Cubs. Over the past 30 seasons, the team has won five Midwest League titles, most recently in 2005, and has captured 12 division titles. In 2015 the team was named Ballpark Digest's Team of the Year and received the John H. Johnson President's Award, the highest award in minor league baseball. In June 2017, Four Winds Field, home of the South Bend Cubs, was voted Best Class A ballpark in the country by Ballpark Digest.
