South Bend Cubs announce upcoming game/promotion schedule

SOUTH BEND, Indiana - The South Bend Cubs have announced their next homestand of the season. Highlights of this series include the always-popular Star Wars Night and an afternoon weekday game where participants in summer and day camps are welcomed.
All homestand games take place at Four Winds Field, 501 W. South Street, South Bend. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the Box Office at 574-235-9988.
Wednesday, July 11, Beloit Snappers, 7:05 p.m.
Gates open at 6 p.m.
Baseball Hat Giveaway: The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a South Bend Cubs hat
Silver Slugger's Day: Seniors ages 55 and older can purchase a discounted ticket to the game. Plus, special health screenings every week
Thursday, July 12, Beloit Snappers, 7:05 p.m.
Gates open at 6 p.m.
Star Wars Night: Special appearance by The Northern Darkness Garrison: 501^st Legion. Fans are encouraged to dress up as their favorite Star Wars character and bid on game worn Star Wars jerseys. Proceeds to benefit South Bend Cubs charities.
Thirsty Thursday: Enjoy $2 fountain sodas and 16 oz domestic draft beer all game long

Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Home Run for Life: A patient from Beacon Children's Hospital is honored and will get to run the bases during the game
Fantastic Friday Fireworks: Begin immediately following the game

Flat Screen Saturday: Every inning, one fan in attendance will win a 50-inch flat screen TV

Poster Monday: The first 500 fans through the gates will receive a collectable South Bend Cubs poster
Belly Buster Monday: All-you-can-eat hot dogs, peanuts and popcorn with the purchase of an $8 wristband. (Offer must be purchased with game ticket.)
Camp Day: Join the South Bend Cubs for a special weekday afternoon ball game with day and summer campers in attendance.
As a reminder, the gates open two hours prior to the first pitch for all Friday, Saturday and Sunday games throughout the season. The 1st Source Bank Performance Center will be open during home games for all ticket holders.

The South Bend Cubs are the Class A minor league affiliate of the World Series Champion Chicago Cubs. Over the past 30 seasons, the team has won five Midwest League titles, most recently in 2005, and has captured 12 division titles. In 2015 the team was named Ballpark Digest's Team of the Year and received the John H. Johnson President's Award, the highest award in minor league baseball.
