Barry Enright held the Sox offense without a hit for the first 5.2 innings until Gabriel Noriega and Kyle Wren each singled to give the Sox their first base runners. In the past four games, Wren is 6-for-19 with three runs scored and four runs driven in.
After Albuquerque (22-19) scored two runs in the first inning, LHP Josh Hader (3-3, 4.60) settled down, striking out five Isotopes and allowing two more runs in the final 3.1 innings of his outing. The bullpen duo of Andy Oliver and Tim Dillard combined to allow one earned run and strike out three batters in the final 3.2 innings.
The Sky Sox (23-14) look to bounce back Saturday night at Isotopes Park, when Hiram Burgos (2-3, 6.14) takes the mound against fellow right-hander Matt Flemer (1-3, 7.40) at 7:05 p.m. MT.
