Sox Win Wild 15-11 Marathon
Brett Phillips recorded his second two-homer game of 2017, while Wei-Chung Wang drove in the winning run and earned the win on the mound to lead the Colorado Springs Sky Sox to a 15-11 win over the El Paso Chihuahuas in front of 5,683 at Southwest University Field.
With the win, the Sky Sox (22-12) snapped a three-game losing streak and picked up its first win against the PCL Pacific Southern Division. The 4:05 marathon also marked the longest nine-inning game for the Sox this season.
