Summary
Richmond's Hunter Cole slapped a walk-off, game-winning single in the bottom of the ninth inning Sunday, lifting the Flying Squirrels to a 3-2 win and three-game series sweep over the Akron RubberDucks at The Diamond in Richmond, Va.

Turning Point
The Flying Squirrels (54-71) won on Cole's single off Jordan Milbrath (2-1) in the ninth. It scored pinch-runner Rando Moreno with the winning run. Milbrath had issued back-to-back walks to begin the inning.
Winging It
Jarrett Martin (3-2) almost faced the same fate as Milbrath. He came into the game in the top of the ninth with runners on second and third and only one out, but managed to strike out Taylor Murphy and induce a fly ball by Ivan Castillo to keep the game tied, 2-2. Both starters threw well. Shane Bieber went 5.2 innings for Akron and allowed only two runs. Lefty Matt Lujan worked seven for Richmond, and also gave up two runs.
Duck Tales
The RubberDucks (62-63) tied the game, 1-1, on Francisco Mejía's RBI fielder's choice in the sixth. The Ducks tied the game, 2-2, on Castillo's RBI single in the seventh. Greg Allen and Luigi Rodriguez had two hits apiece for the Ducks. Allen extended his hit streak to seven games.
