Statement from the Greenville Drive

“Consistent with Minor League Baseball’s announcement regarding the upcoming season, the Greenville Drive’s 15th anniversary season, originally scheduled to begin in Lexington on April 9th, has been delayed.

At this time, it is unclear if the delay will impact 2020 Opening Night at Fluor Field, presented by TD Bank, on Thursday, April 16th. We have been & will continue to closely monitor the situation regarding the current coronavirus pandemic and the Drive will be following any guidelines as set forth by Minor League Baseball.

This situation continues to be fluid, however, the safety of our fans, players, and employees remains our top priority as we prepare for the 2020 season.

We are diligently working with Minor League Baseball & the South Atlantic League on plans for the upcoming season. We will be providing updates regarding the start of the regular season in the near future.
