The Storm Chasers are back at Werner Park to begin an eight-day homestand, with the Iowa Cubs coming to town for the first time this season. The series starts with post-game concerts on Friday and Saturday evenings with Steve Moakler and Colton Dixon, respectively. In addition, fans will have their chance to play catch on the field on U.S. Bank Family FUNday and get autographs from four Storm Chasers players with another Omaha World-Herald Autograph Card Set.
Friday, August 11 (7:05pm) vs. Iowa Cubs
- Hy-Vee Friday Fireworks: Immediately following Friday's game, the skies will ignite with a post-game fireworks show thanks to Hy-Vee.
- Steve Moakler Post-Game Concert presented by Boot Barn, U-Pull-It and KAT 103.7: Steve Moakler will be performing a post-game concert following Friday's contest.
Saturday, August 12 (6:05pm) vs. Iowa Cubs
- Faith & Family Night with Post-Game Concert from Colton Dixon presented by Boys Town & Home Instead Senior Care: The Storm Chasers' annual Faith & Family Night takes place on Saturday evening, which will include a post-game concert from American Idol Finalist Colton Dixon.
Sunday, August 13 (2:05pm) vs. Iowa Cubs
- Pre-Game On-Field Catch: Fans will have a chance to play catch on the field pre-game on the last Sunday of each month. Gates will open 1 hour & 15 minutes prior to scheduled 1st pitch.
- Hy-Vee Canned Food Sundays: Fans will receive a free McDonald's berm ticket with the donation of two Hy-Vee branded canned good items at Werner Park on Sunday home dates with 2:05pm and 5:05pm start times. The canned goods will be donated to Heartland Hope Mission Pantry.
- Omaha World-Herald Autograph Card Set: The first 1,000 fans admitted to Werner Park will receive an Omaha World-Herald Autograph Card Set featuring Storm Chasers players
Eric Skoglund ,Brayan Peña ,Garin Cecchini andSam Selman . Those four players are scheduled to be on the field before the game to sign the cards. - Dick Beverage Pacific Coast League Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony: Nebraska native Dick Beverage, founder and President Emeritus of the Pacific Coast League Historical Society, will be inducted into the Pacific Coast League's Hall of Fame in a pre-game on-field ceremony at Werner Park. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at approximately 1:45pm.
- U.S. Bank Family FUNday: Clowns and balloon artists will be out on the concourse for U.S. Bank Family FUNday, with Wildlife Encounters also at the ballpark.
- Hardee's Kids Run The Bases: Kids will be able to run the same bases as the Storm Chasers following the game! Parentsavvy.com Lil Chasers members will be able to run the bases first.
Monday, August 14 (12:05pm) vs. Iowa Cubs
- Day Game: Omaha and Iowa conclude their four-game series with baseball in the sunshine with a special 12:05pm start time.
The homestand will continue with a four-game series against the Sacramento River Cats from August 15-18. Among the promotions of that half of the homestand are Tallboy Tuesday (August 15), Wiener Wednesday with RTG Medical Bark in the Park (August 16), Thirsty Thursday (August 17) and Outdoors Night with Jersey Auction presented by National Wild Turkey Federation, in addition to Hy-Vee Friday Fireworks (August 18).
