PAPILLION, Neb. – The Omaha Storm Chasers (20-19) beat the St. Paul Saints (15-23) 8-7 to win their fourth game in a row and their eighth consecutive at Werner Park.

Omaha scored the first runs of the game, plating a three-piece in the second. CF Brewer Hicklen hit a single into left field and moved to third on a double from 2B Clay Dungan. Both runners would score on a C Freddy Fermin double and LF JaCoby Jones would put up an RBI double to give Omaha a 3-0 lead after the second.

The third inning started with a walk from RF Nick Pratto, who would move to second on an error by the Saints that put DH Gabriel Cancel on base. 1B Vinnie Pasquantino hit a double into right to score Pratto and move Cancel to third.

Dungan grounded into a force-out that scored Cancel before a double play ended the Storm Chasers scoring chance with a runner in scoring position.

St. Paul put up some runs in the fifth, but Omaha responded with runs of their own in the bottom of the frame. Pasquantino drew a one-out walk and with two away Dungan hit a double to put runners at second and third. Fermin hit a single to score the pair of runs and make the score 7-3.

St. Paul put up four runs in the seventh to knot the score at 7-7.

In the bottom of the eighth 3B Angelo Castellano started the inning with a hit-by-pitch. Pratto would walk to put runners at first and second before Pasquantino hit a grounder sharply through the right side to score Castellano and give Omaha the lead back.

RHP Andrés Sotillet (2-0) got the win for the Storm Chasers while RHP Arodys Vizcaíno earned his sixth save of the season.
