Stott Promoted to Double-A Reading
JERSEY SHORE, NJ - BlueClaws SS Bryson Stott has been promoted to Double-A Reading after a stellar month with the BlueClaws.
JERSEY SHORE, NJ - BlueClaws SS Bryson Stott has been promoted to Double-A Reading after a stellar month with the BlueClaws.
Stott hit .288 with a team-leading five home runs and 10 RBIs while adding in three stolen bases. He drew 22 walks and had an on-base percentage of .453 that led all of High-A East. Through games of May 31st, Stott's 22 walks drawn ranked 8th among players on all of Minor League Baseball's 120 teams.
The 14th overall pick in the 2019 draft from UNLV, Stott was the 12th first-round pick to play for the BlueClaws, following Gavin Floyd, Cole Hamels, Greg Golson, Kyle Drabek, Anthony Hewitt, Jesse Biddle, JP Crawford, Cornelius Randolph, Mickey Moniak, Adam Haseley, and Alec Bohm.
