Suns-Legends Game Canceled by Rain
[Empty Body]
HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Due to continuing rain on Saturday afternoon, the second game of four between the Hagerstown Suns and Lexington Legends at Municipal Stadium has been canceled and will not be made up.
Nick Adenhart bobbleheads will now be distributed to the first 1,000 fans through the gate before Sunday's game with first pitch at 2:05 p.m. Season ticket holders are invited to enter at 12:30 p.m. and the general public will be welcomed at 1 p.m.
13 Suns home games have been postponed, suspended, or canceled by rain in 65 home dates this season. Municipal Stadium has now lost nine gate openings this season; the most among all 14 South Atlantic League teams. In 2016, the Suns postponed only four home games.
Fans holding tickets for Saturday's game may exchange those tickets at the Municipal Stadium Box Office for either of the final two Suns games of 2017 on Sunday or Monday with first pitch at 2:05. For more info on Hagerstown Suns ticketing, call (301) 791-6266.
Live radio coverage of the final two games will begin with the Sunrise Pregame Show at 1:50 p.m. on the Hagerstown Suns Radio Network with Kevin Gehl and Brian Brownfield. Listen live from anywhere on hagerstownsuns.com.
