Suns Sweep RiverDogs in Double Header on Tuesday
Hagerstown, MD - Cole Freeman improved his hit streak to seven games with base-knocks in both games as the Hagerstown Suns swept a double header against the Charleston RiverDogs on Tuesday, winning game one 10-7 and game two 7-4. The Suns improve to 13-25 and have an off-day on Wednesday.

In the bottom of the frame, the Suns got one run back to increase their lead to three runs. Garcia triple to right and Antuna doubled to left, scoring Garcia to give Hagerstown a 10-7 lead.
DeRosier (1-1) earned the win after throwing 5.0 innings while allowing two runs on six hits with a walk and five strikeouts. Acevedo threw an inning while allowing five runs on five hits. Fuentes earned his first save of the year, tossing the seventh while allowing one hit with a strikeout.
In the second game, the RiverDogs got out to an early lead, with Thompson-Williams homering for the third time on Tuesday and the fifth time in the series. Hagerstown responded in the bottom of the inning, though. Garcia drove in Freeman with a sacrifice fly and Aldrem Corredor mashed a three-run homer to give the Suns a 4-1 lead.
Charleston scored one run in the second but broke even with Hagerstown in the third. Thompson-Williams drew a one-out walk and Sensley doubled him home to cut the Suns lead to one run. With Sensley on second, Pablo Olivares singled to left to score Sensley and tie the game at 4-4.
