Somerset has now won nine of their last 10 games and 14 of their last 17. Rehabbing Yankees RHP Ian Hamilton earned the win, striking out two in a shutout seventh inning of work.
RHP Chase Hampton (6 IP, 2 ER, 4 H, 8 K) took a no-decision, putting together a quality start in his Double-A debut.
Hampton struck out 8+ for the fourth straight start and 8th time this season. Hampton’s 85 strikeouts in 53 IP this season lead all Yankees minor leaguers.
He becomes the first member of the 2022 MLB Draft class to debut with Somerset.

After a three-run blast on Saturday, Sweeney has now homered in back-to-back games for the first time this season.
The two-hit performance marked Sweeney’s team leading 13th multi-hit game of the year. Sweeney finished the six-game series 9-for-26 (.346) with 3 HR, 4 R, and 8 RBI.
In the month of June, Sweeney is hitting .296 with 4 HR, 11 RBI, and a .894 OPS.
