TACOMA, Wash. - The Tacoma Rainiers (28-29) fell to the Salt Lake Bees (34-23) by a final score of 5-2 Saturday night at Cheney Stadium.Tacoma starter Lindsey Caughel (1-2) allowed one run across three innings and struck out two Salt Lake hitters while walking none.

Shortstop Adam Law (2x3, R, 2 RBI, HR), third baseman Seth Mejias-Brean (1x3, R,) and first baseman Daniel Vogelbach (1x3, 2 BB) powered the Rainiers offense Saturday night.u1:p
Salt Lake got on the board first during the second inning when Francisco Arcia singled to right and scored Jose Miguel Fernanandez to make it 1-0.u1:p
The Bees extended their lead to 3-0 during the fifth when David Fletcher lined an RBI double to right and Jabari Blash managed an RBI groundout.u1:p
Law answered during the bottom half of the sixth when he clubbed his first career Triple-A home run, a towering shot to left field that closed the Tacoma deficit to 3-2.u1:p
Fernandez launched a two-run home run in the top of the seventh to score Blash and extend the Salt Lake lead to 5-2.u1:p
The Rainiers and Bees return to Cheney Stadium Sunday afternoon at 1:35 p.m. for the series finale. Right hander Rob Whalen (6-2, 5.02) will get the start for Tacoma and lefty John Lamb (1-0, 3.83) will toe the rubber for Salt Lake.u1:p
