ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists rode their pitching duo of Nic Swanson and Alain Pena to a 6-1 victory over the Hickory Crawdads Thursday night. Swanson dealt five innings and Pena followed with four scoreless frames. The two right-handers held Hickory to a total of one run and four hits.

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists celebrated Travel & Hospitality Night at McCormic Field in their Wednesday evening contest against the Hickory Crawdads. Asheville fell behind early but roared back late. The comeback attempt came up a couple runs short and Hickory prevailed with an 11-9 win.

GREENVILLE- The Asheville Tourists dropped their second straight to the Greenville Drive on Friday night, 13-4. Greenville’s offense, led by Cutter Coffey, took control after the Tourists struck early. Coffey finished the game with two Home Runs and seven RBI.

GREENVILLE- The Asheville Tourists fell to the Greenville Drive 8-5 on Thursday night. Greenville scored six of their eight runs in the first two innings and Asheville was unable to overcome the six-run deficit.
Guillemette and Matthews Go Deep in Series Finale
ASHEVILLE- Sunday afternoon’s series finale between the Asheville Tourists and the Bowling Green Hot Rods was another closely contested game throughout. The Hot Rods hit four Home Runs while the Tourists belted a pair. In the end, Bowling Green held on for an 8-5 win over Asheville.
Tourists Drop Series Opener to Hot Rods
ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists fell to the Bowling Green Hot Rods 8-1 in their series opener Tuesday night. The Hot Rods have not lost the first game in any of their ten series all season. The Tourists are 5-5 in series openers this year.

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists notched their second straight one run victory over the Greensboro Grasshoppers with a 4-3 win on Saturday night. It was also the Tourists second consecutive sellout crowd on hand to see the home team come out on top.

HICKORY- The Asheville Tourists dropped a close contest to the Hickory Crawdads, 5-4, on Saturday night from L.P. Frans Stadium. Austin Deming hit a three-run Home Run and Garret Guillemette added two hits; however, Hickory hung on to take a one game lead in the series.

HICKORY- The Asheville Tourists scored six runs in the final two innings on Tuesday night to erase a three-run deficit and defeat the Hickory Crawdads 8-5. The victory was Asheville’s fourth straight — a new season high.
Sunday Fun Day Equals Double-Header Sweep
ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists defeated the Rome Emperors in a pair of contests on Sunday afternoon. Asheville used a Logan Cerny three-run walk-off Home Run to win Game One 7-6; then exploded offensively, built a big lead, and cruised in Game Two, 9-4.
Tourists and Emperors Split Twin Bill
ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists and the Rome Emperors each picked up a win on Thursday night with a double-header split. Rome won the first game 6-1 and Asheville owned the second game with a 12-1 final score. The series is knotted up at two games apiece.
Williams Walks Tourists Off in the Ninth
ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists defeated the Rome Emperors 4-3 in walk off fashion Wednesday evening. Trailing 3-1, Jeron Williams cleared the bases in the bottom of the ninth with a two-run single combined with an Emperors throwing error. The three-run sequence sent McCormick Field into a frenzy.
