ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists rode their pitching duo of Nic Swanson and Alain Pena to a 6-1 victory over the Hickory Crawdads Thursday night. Swanson dealt five innings and Pena followed with four scoreless frames. The two right-handers held Hickory to a total of one run and four hits.

GREENSBORO- The Asheville Tourists built a 4-1 lead on the Greensboro Grasshoppers across Thursday night’s first seven innings. ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists almost overcame a seven-run deficit against the Aberdeen IronBirds on Sunday afternoon. Asheville fell behind 8-1 but the Tourists rallied for six runs over the final three innings. In the end, Aberdeen escaped town with an 8-7 win.
Tourists Play another One Run Game and Win 6-5
ASHEVILLE- For the 25th time this season the Asheville Tourists had a game decided by only one run. On Friday, it was Asheville in the win column with a 6-5 result over the Aberdeen IronBirds. The Tourists are 13-12 this season in their games decided by a single run.
Close Contest Goes to Aberdeen, 3-2
ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Hippies battled the Aberdeen IronBirds on Thursday night but ultimately fell by one run, 3-2. The Hippies received excellent pitching and made a ton of defensive plays yet were unable to overcome an early 3-0 deficit.
Tough Ruling Spoils a Great Night for the Tourists
ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists dropped a tight game to the Greenville Drive 4-2 on Wednesday night. Asheville received phenomenal pitching from Trey Dombroski, Kelly Austin, Ian Foggo, and Brody Rodning; however, a late controversial decision hurt Asheville’s chances at winning the game.
Tourists Hit Three Homers but Fall 12-7
ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists dropped Tuesday night’s contest to the Greenville Drive by a final score of 12-7. Asheville received Home Runs from Anthony Sherwin, Logan Cerny, and Ryan Johnson; however, Greenville hit three Homers of their own and pulled away late.

GREENVILLE- The Asheville Tourists accomplished something on Sunday afternoon that the organization has done only three times in the last 15 years; overcome a seven-run deficit and win. Asheville trailed the Greenville Drive 7-0, yet battled back to beat the Drive 11-10 and earn a series split in the process.
Tourists Drop Series Opener to Hot Rods
ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists fell to the Bowling Green Hot Rods 8-1 in their series opener Tuesday night. The Hot Rods have not lost the first game in any of their ten series all season. The Tourists are 5-5 in series openers this year.
