Tourists Win in Extras on Education Day
WINSTON-SALEM- The Asheville Tourists defeated the Winston-Salem Dash 6-5 in 11 innings on Tuesday morning. Asheville never trailed thanks to timely hitting and quality pitching throughout the contest. Tyler Whitaker finished with a game-high three RBI and Jeron Williams went 3-for-6 with three runs scored.

BROOKLYN- The Asheville Tourists defeated the Brooklyn Cyclones 7-1 on Friday night thanks in large part to a six-run first inning and a stellar pitching performance from Edinson Batista and Andrew Taylor. The victory improved Asheville’s early season record to 4-2.
