ERIE, Pa. - In the first outing of his rehab assignment, Pirates pitcher Jameson Taillon tossed three scoreless innings and struck out six as the Altoona Curve topped the Erie SeaWolves, 3-2, on Sunday afternoon at UPMC Park.

The Curve (26-21) were led offensively with solo home runs by
Taillon threw 47 pitches in his three innings and allowed one hit and walked one batter. He struck out five of the first seven batters he faced. He was making his first rehab appearance less than three weeks after surgery for testicular cancer.
Tied 2-2 in the eighth,
Williams opened the scoring with a solo homer in the third, his first with the Curve, and Espinal clubbed his solo blast in the fourth, his sixth of the year.
Erie evened the score in the fifth inning with a two-run homer by
Espinal went 3-for-4 in the game and score two runs.
The Curve wrap up the series on Monday afternoon with right-hander
