For the second straight night, Portland's lone run came on a solo-homer from Luke Tendler.
Rosso earned his second win against Portland, hurling six innings on four hits, one run, no walks, and three strikeouts. Aaron Brown relieved Rosso and worked two perfect innings. Addison Russ worked around back-to-back hits in the ninth for the save.
Kyle Hart (L, 3-5) tossed seven innings for the second straight start, allowing seven hits, three runs in the loss.
Leading 1-0, Reading tied the game on Haseley's first homer to start the fourth inning. In the fifth, Jose Gomez nailed a triple and scored on a sacrifice fly. Haseley's second homer came in the eighth inning against Daniel McGrath.
Bobby Dalbec and Josh Tobias each had two hits for the Sea Dogs, who have lost seven straight road games.
