The Indians got on the board early with a couple unconventional runs. After loading the bases with nobody out in the second inning, Jax Biggers came in to score the first run of the game on a wild pitch. After another walk loaded the bases again,
There was nothing unconventional about the bottom of the third inning. In fact, it's become pretty standard.
Everett fought back with a couple runs in the sixth and another in the seventh to cut the deficit to 5-3.
Cole Uvila pitched 1.2 scoreless innings out of the bullpen, including two huge strikeouts with the bases loaded to get out of a jam in the seventh.
Jax Biggers put the AquaSox away for good in the bottom half of the seventh. He hit a moonshot down the right field line that hooked just inside the right field foul pole to extend the Indians lead, 7-3. It was the first professional homer for Biggers.
