The Grizzlies took a 4-0 lead through the first five innings. In the first, Teoscar Hernández (2-for-4) knocked a two-run double that scored White and Preston Tucker. It is also his second straight game hitting two doubles.
The Chihuahuas cut the Grizzlies' lead to 4-1 in the sixth. Rafael Ortega (2-for-3) hit his fifth home run of the season, a solo shot to right field. It was just the second El Paso hit of the game, with both coming off the bat of Ortega. El Paso ended the contest with just four hits.
Fresno increased their lead to a 6-1 final score in the eighth. Reid Brignac (2-for-4) hit a two-RBI double to right that scored Juan Centeno (single) and Reed (walk).
