ZEBULON – Following the All-Star break, the Carolina Mudcats return to action at Five County Stadium on Friday, July 22 for a three game homestand versus the Down East Wood Ducks, an affiliate of the Texas Rangers. This weekend's promotions include Friday Night Fireworks presented by Tryon Family Dentistry and CBS 17 News, Negro Leagues Tribute Night featuring Souvenir Saturday with a t-shirt giveaway, and WakeMed Five County Family Sunday with $7.00 box seat tickets and Christmas Eve in July.

Friday Night Fireworks pres. by Tryon Family Dentistry & CBS 17 News

The Mudcats will light up the night sky each and every Friday this season with Friday Night Fireworks presented by Tryon Family Dentistry and CBS 17 News. Enjoy baseball and the area’s best fireworks show following each Friday home game this season. Friday Night Fireworks shows feature a post-game fireworks display and fun music. Friday’s will also see the Mudcats black out the field with new alternate black game jerseys.
Souvenir Saturday – Negro Leagues Tribute Night Souvenir T-Shirt Giveaway (first 1,000 fans)

Part of Minor League Baseball's "The Nine" initiative, and in partnership with the Buck Leonard Association, Negro Leagues Tribute Night is highlighted by a souvenir t-shirt giveaway, as well as pre-game and in-game tributes designed to celebrate the legacy of local Negro League teams and players, specifically hall of famer and Rocky Mount, NC native Buck Leonard.
WakeMed Five County Family Sunday & Christmas Eve in July
Sunday, July 24 – First Pitch: 1:00 p.m.; Gates Open: 12:00 p.m.
The Mudcats are excited to bring back Five County Family Sundays to every Sunday home game throughout the season. This weekly promotion happens every Sunday and features $7.00 box seat tickets for all fans residing in one of Five County Stadium's five counties including Wake County, Franklin County, Nash County, Johnston County and Wilson County. Each Five County Family Sunday game concludes with a chance to play catch on the field after the game. Post-game catch is free and is open to fans of all ages.
Sundays additionally feature food and drink specials including mimosas, ice cream sandwiches, deep fried waffles, and cinnamon sugar pretzels.
Sunday's game will also feature Christmas Eve in July, hosted by the Friends of Santa. Christmas Eve in July will include fun in-game enhancements and a toy drive giving fans the chance to exchange toy donations for tickets to a future Mudcats game.
