September 15, 2012: The Rattlers won 10–8 at Fort Wayne in Game Three of the Midwest League Championship Series. Wisconsin trailed 3–1 after Yeison Asencio hit a two-run triple in the bottom of the third. The Rattlers raillied to take the lead in the top of the fourth with five runs. Nick Ramirez homered to start the inning, but Wisconsin had two outs with none on base. Then, Rafael Neda walked and Lance Roenicke singled. Adrian Williams tied the game with an RBI single. Brandon Macias was next and he cracked a three-run home run to put the Rattlers up 6–3.
The TinCaps scored a run on a wild pitch by David Goforth in the fifth inning, but Goforth would pitch a scoreless sixth and totaled ten strikeouts over his six innings of work to turn a 6–4 lead over to the Timber Rattlers bullpen. Wisconsin added an insurance run in the seventh on an RBI double by Ben McMahan and chipped in three more insurance runs in the eighth on an RBI single by Chadwin Stang and a two-run double by McMahan.
Fort Wayne rallied in the bottom of the eighth with two-out, RBI singles by Duanel Jones and Jace Peterson. Two Timber Rattlers errors in the bottom of the ninth set up and RBI double by Austin Hedges and an RBI grounder by Jeremy Boltz to bring the tying run to the plate. Santo Manzanillo struck out Jones to end the game and put Wisconsin one win away from the pennant.
1999: The Rattlers lost 2–0 at Burlington in Game Two of the Midwest League Championship Series. Edwin Almonte outdueled Jeff Heaverlo to give the Bees a 2–0 lead in the best-of-five series. Heaverlo allowed two unearned runs on three hits and struck out ten over eight innings for a complete-game loss. Almonte allowed three hits and struck out ten over nine ininngs for the complete-game win.
2005: The Rattlers beat South Bend 1–0 at home in Game Three of the Midwest League Championship Series. Robert Rohrbaugh allowed three hits and struck out seven over eight scoreless innings as the starting pitcher for Wisconsin. The Rattlers broke the scoreless tie when Chris Colton drew a bases-loaded walk with two outs in the bottom of the eighth. Stephen Kahn took over for Rohrbaugh in the top of the ninth. He retired the first two batters, but gave up a single to Cesar Nicolas. Kahn ended the game with a grounder to second and Wisconsin forced Game Four.
