North Little Rock, AR-Dom Thompson-Williams blasted a go-ahead home run in the sixth inning pushing the Arkansas Travelers to a 3-2 victory over the Tulsa Drillers on Thursday night in the first game out of the Texas League All-Star Break for both teams. The teams combined for just nine hits

North Little Rock, AR-Dom Thompson-Williams blasted a go-ahead home run in the sixth inning pushing the Arkansas Travelers to a 3-2 victory over the Tulsa Drillers on Thursday night in the first game out of the Texas League All-Star Break for both teams. The teams combined for just nine hits in the game but five of those hits went for extra bases. Tulsa had tied the game in the second inning on a homer by Jared Walker. Four Travs pitchers held the Drillers to only three hits total in the game with none coming after the third inning. The win improved the Travs to a Double-A best 49-26 on the season including 6-1 in the second half.
Moments That Mattered
* Donnie Walton and Evan White opened the game with consecutive doubles to get the Travs on the board. Dom Thompson-Williams added an RBI single later in the inning.
* Thompson-Williams' go-ahead homer in the sixth came on a 1-0 pitch and traveled 402 feet over the right-center field fence.
* Jack Anderson walked the opening batter of the eighth inning but then picked him off with a 3-2 count on the next batter.
