HELENA, MT - The Helena Brewers (15-18) slugged three home runs en route to a 10-5 victory over the Idaho Falls Chukars (15-18) on Sunday afternoon at Kindrick Legion Field.
With the game scoreless in the third,
Idaho Falls responded in the fourth, cutting the deficit to just one run. The Chukars loaded the bases with a double, a walk and a single, and scored their first run on a sacrifice fly. Attempting to throw out a base runner, Henry committed a throwing error, allowing another run to come in and score.
Starter
The Brewers offense rewarded their starter with additional run support in the bottom of the fifth.
Though the Chukars scored a run in the top of the sixth, Helena used another home run to lengthen their lead in the bottom of the frame. Harrison worked a lead off walk and Henry followed with a two-run opposite field home run, his fifth of the season, giving the Brewers a 10-5 lead. Henry finished the day 1-for-2 with a home run, two RBI, three walks and two runs scored.
