Lin allowed one run on one hit. He permitted just two free passes and struck out six batters in three innings on the mound for the Threshers.
Carlos De La Cruz was responsible for two of Clearwater’s (38-41) four hits of the afternoon including a ground-rule double in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Bradenton (50-32) racked up 14 runs on 15 hits against the Threshers’ defense.
Clearwater is on the road for two weeks before returning home to BayCare Ballpark on August 24. August 10-15, the Threshers travel to Tampa to take on the Tarpons, and August 17 – 22 battle Bradenton at LECOM Park. SCHEDULE.
