TinCaps Games to Air on MyNetworkTV in Fort Wayne Area

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – In partnership with 21Alive, a package of Fort Wayne TinCaps games will air on MyNetworkTV (channel 21.3 over the air and 1172 on Comcast Xfinity) during the 2023 Minor League Baseball season. A total of 15 games at Parkview Field can be found on MyNetworkTV in the Fort Wayne area, beginning with Opening Day on Tuesday (April 11) when the TinCaps host the Cleveland Guardians-affiliated Lake County Captains. Live coverage starts at 6:30 p.m. leading up to first pitch at 6:35.
Thursday night TinCaps home games throughout the season will be seen on MyNetworkTV. Besides Opening Day, three additional non-Thursday games will be flexed to the broadcast schedule.
“We’re excited to bring the Parkview Field experience to more TinCaps fans than ever before,” said Michael Limmer, TinCaps Vice President of Marketing. “With our high-level production team and on-air talent, it’s the next best thing to being at the ballpark.”
TinCaps Director of Video Production Melissa Harring and Assistant Director of Video Production Jared Law will produce the games, along with support from Jake Ulrey, Nolan Bulmahn, and their crew. TinCaps play-by-play broadcaster John Nolan will call the action, joined by a rotation of commentators, including Justin Libey (former Minor League Baseball pitcher and Northeast Indiana native), Brett Rump (1380 The Fan host and former Valpo pitcher), and Derek Decker (Norwell High School and IU alum).
