No. 21 is right-handed pitcher Ryan Franklin, who pitched in 110 games for the Rainiers from 1997-2001.
Franklin pitched in 532 games in the majors for the Mariners, Phillies, Reds and Cardinals from 1999-2011.
Franklin made his major-league debut with the Mariners in 1999 after 29 appearances with the Rainiers. The right-hander pitched in six games for Seattle that season, posting a 4.76 ERA in 11 1/3 innings.
Franklin's best season was 2003 when he made 32 starts for the Mariners and posted a 3.57 ERA in a career-high 2012 innings. He walked 61 and struck out 99.
