Richard Urena has seen peaks and valleys in his first full season with Double-A New Hampshire and a recent uptick in production from MLB.com's No. 85 overall prospect produced a pair of wins on Wednesday.
The Blue Jays' fourth-ranked prospect racked up five hits and four RBIs as the Fisher Cats completed a doubleheader sweep of Harrisburg at FNB Field. Urena doubled, singled twice and drove in a run in a 6-3 victory in the opener, then went 2-for-3 with a triple, three RBIs and a run scored as New Hampshiretook the nightcap, 5-4.

The 21-year-old extended his hitting streak to a season-high six games and improved his slash line to .235/.284/.337. His batting average dropped to .183 on April 24, but he went 6-for-19 over the next five games to get it back to .215. An 0-for-18 funk in early May knocked it down to .173 before four consecutive two-hit performances created a 38-point jump.
On Wednesday, Urena hit a one-out double in the first inning of the opener against Austen Williams (1-6), then tagged the Senators starter for a two-out single in the third. Williams surrendered four runs in the fourth but got the better of Urena with a four-pitch strikeout to end the rally.
Facing reliever Derek Self in the seventh with runners at first and second, the switch-hitter pulled a liner into right field for a base hit that plated Derrick Loveless.

In the nightcap, Fisher Cats leadoff man Jonathan Davis created a run in the opening frame with a walk and his fifth stolen base this season. He took third on a wild pitch by John Simms and came home when Urena bounced to second.
Davis, the Blue Jays' 29th-ranked prospect, knocked a leadoff double in the third and raced home on Urena's single. Urena followed a walk by Andrew Guillotte in the fifth with his second triple of the season. The native of the Dominican Republic scored his only run of the day on a single by Blue Jays No. 14 prospect Harold Ramirez before drawing a walk in the seventh.
After hitting second in the lineup in Game 1, Urena moved down a spot in the nightcap. While he's hit two homers in 49 games, he's batting .311 with 20 RBIs in 45 at-bats with runners in scoring position.

Conner Greene, Toronto's No. 6 prospect, came within one out of his second career complete game in the opener, allowing three runs on six hits with six strikeouts and two walks over 6 2/3 innings. Ramirez went 3-for-7 with an RBI and a run scored in the sweep.
Guillotte was 1-for-3 in each game, giving him a hit in all eight contests since he was promoted from Class A Advanced Dunedin. Overall, he's batting .320 and is tied for 13th in the Minor Leagues with 39 runs scored.
José Marmolejos, the Nationals' No. 25 prospect, tripled, singled, walked twice, scored twice and picked up an RBI in the nightcap after going 1-for-3 in the opener.
